Just bought a new 2023 Tacoma TRD and was wondering which trifold hard cover is best to get and still be able to to use the bed rail tie down system?

My 21 TRD came with a trifold i believe it's toyota brand. Pros: retains factory bedrail system, 3 convenient release handles and (1) 12mm bolt to remove /install under 5mins, tethered clips lock panels when folded up. Cons: heavy, not 100% watertight, no carry handle to use when removing! I just went to lime rock park in CT for a Gridlife event and loved the fact that i was able to drive there and back with cover installed and took it off to put up my bed tent setup and it kept all my gear dry through a rain storm (only have had water in bed when washing or very heavy rains. for the most part i love it! Hope this helps good luck

Congrats on the truck. I have a Bakflip Mx4 and love it!

Bakflip Mx4 all the way! It's a little pricey but well worth it.

And with the Bakflip, it is light enough and easy enough to remove if you want.

I haul my motorcycle for track days a few times a year and it’s easier to see without the tonneau folded and blocking the window. 2 bolts and it’s off the truck!
