    Morning Amigo's & Senoritas...

An hour til I suit up. Inch inch of snow and the wind is down. Elk.

    Glad your back is better.

I had 3 years of agony and everyone said sciatica. No help. Agony.
I took myself to the ER @3am and got an MRI. Dr referred me to oncologist...wow.
Stage 4 prostate cancer on the bone. Hip,base of spine, other spots. Just the bones.
That Doc said 2 years maybe more,15 with treatment. Maybe.
I said "How about 20, let's get the show on the road."

Cancer beat back for now and I can move well.
    Hell,I'm hunting elk. Carrying firewood.
I could hardly lift a dogfood bag a year ago.

    Life is good.

    I am. Every minute!

New tires and wheels on way.
Take it to mech. to look at it next week to get set to rebuild suspension and align. Thanks for tip phessor!

When I go for last post op on eyes, I'll drive over and check out a Toyota mech., I got from another lead on here.
I can still read folks well...and I might just tell him to rebuild engine and whatever needs it.

18 years to go, life is too short to give up on.

I used the red on the small bolts that hold the HID shroud on the headlamp reflector of the Tacoma. Works very well.

Have your doctor's authorized PT for you? PT worked for me with a herniated disc.

Good morning. Family wanted to go out for dinner and music last night so tonight is chicken and pork steaks on the smoker. Finalizing the menu and shopping list for Thursday.

    Morning all:

Made the decision on what I will use on the bolt threads, Vibra Tite.
Never used it before, but sounds like it "SHOULD" meet the criteria of bolts not loosening due to vibration and fairly easy to break free, also mentioned by others on crossbow forums, now I only need to drive about 20 miles to pick it up at Grainger, no one carries it locally.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/aching backs. I occasionally have a disc that slips and knocks me out of alignment; it hasn't happened in quite a while, knock wood, but when it does happen it can hurt so much it literally makes me ill. Mucho sympathy here for those who are suffering. In terms of surgery I am a skeptic, but that could be due to my age. I think techniques have improved and I also think there are fewer surgeons doing things just for the sake of doing them these days. I hear about more good outcomes than I have in the past.

I went on a "before we put 'em away" run yesterday with a group of vintage car folks. The event was put on by a nearby restoration shop, Ragtops & Roadsters. Nice folks, but expensive! I drove about an hour over to the shop, then thawed out enough to join the 90-minute covered bridge tour. It was about 25F when I left the house; fortunately it warmed up as the day went on, but that first drive over to the shop was pretty icy. It would have been nice to have doors on the Caterham. I keep threatening to buy a set but have yet to commit.

Now you know what I look like!

Some of the other attendees. I followed the bugeye around on the tour.

The drive leader would stop us on the covered bridges to take pics, sometimes holding up traffic for several minutes. Everybody was smiling though. Narrow rural roads, almost no traffic.

For some reason, clear weather in front of a cold front low, causes a friction that raises the temps - to 82*. But the wind dropped the humidity - when I was done!
    So all these pot:
