    The Toyota that you know and love is based in Plano Texas.

    And @Junkhead is right. The 5S/6-sigma are processes that many industries copied from Yota's SOP. You would think that they know how to manage a multinational company with consistent quality. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Or is that beyond the ability of "japanese engineers"?

    I got a loaner Tacoma and it ran great and much more responsive than mine. It's because the loaner is romped on and probably punched at every light. Just learned driving habits is my guess.

    My Mexico truck has body gaps that look like Ray Charles assembled it. My 2015 and families 4runner does not have these issues.
