Hi everyone. Just picked up last week a CPO 2021 DCLB Offroad Silver Sky Metallic. Thought I would say hi.

I am loving the truck, only issue is some steering shake at freeway speed. Having the dealer checking the alignment and rebalance the wheels to see if they can get it riding better. They are also going to install the tint that was missing, but they definitely did not forget to charged me the lifetime tint coverage.

Once I get this all done, I am probably going to take advantage of a Black Friday sale for a lift. Looking at the OME with the 888 springs with the soft 90021 shocks the medium 95R leafs.

I don’t plan on adding much extra in terms of weight, would like full skids and rock sliders, might be a bit for that though.

Thanks, out here in east Mesa. Last truck I had was a ‘84 Toyota pickup I sold about 20 years ago. This will be more of a daily than that.

Wow, looks just like my silver 21 TRD OR DCLB. Good choice. Bought it in November of 2020 and now have almost 9700 Miles on it. :).

Super dumb question... I noticed you have a receiver hitch on the front of your truck. I've seen them before. My grandpa had one on the front of his RV but I never saw it in use. Do they have something to do with making it easier to launch a boat head in or is it to use for a winch, tow point, bike rack or all or none of the above?

Not dumb. Have them on both my Wrangler and my Tacoma. Recovery point, Snowsport snow plow, moving a utility trailer in and out of my shed when loaded.

Ahh, I never thought about snow plow. Good example. I wonder what it would be like to push/pull a trailer from the front of the vehicle. I wonder if that would help dummies at the boat ramp, or still gets confusing with the trailer going to opposite direction that you think it should.

Personally I wouldn’t have it lifted, looks great like it is. Enjoy your new truck!

Was going to replace the tires with 265/75/16 as I’m about due in the next few months. Some of the BF deals I am having a hard time passing up, wish I would have had the truck for a few months, would make the decision easier to lift or not.

Not sure if lots of people “need” a lift vs “want” a lift. For myself I like the look of a truck with a little bit of lift. Do not want to just use blocks and spacers, figured if I’m going to do it, do it right.
