So based on all my research and knowledge, EIBACH is the only brand that’ll make your truck have an annoying “clunk” after install correct? Yes i understand not ALL are having this issue but handful amount of people are. If EIBACH is the ONLY one known to do this, then i’ll send my monies to FOX.

Not correct. While I believe eibach strut bodies are compromised compared to other s due to diameter and/or material quality, clunking can occur with any suspension upgrade. Improper install, torque, alignment, is usually the culprit. Comparing Eibach to Fox is apples to oranges really

I can't speak for the shocks themselves, but most clunking occurs due to the above mentioned response.

In fact, if you 'search' for clunking...most times it's after 'just lifted my truck...' and nothing specific to Eibach.

Have Bilstein 6112, and I have a clunk. I believe it’s my lower bushing that connects to the lca is ripped…..and I’m too lazy to change it.

I had eibach lowering everything in the past without issue. May be installer or user error.

    interesting.. interesting..
my conclusion is only based on the common pattens i have seen. a lot of Eibach users experience the "clunk" to my understanding, compared to FOX, BILSTEIN and etc...

Several people have experienced clunk after lifting their vehicle, and many have experienced clunk without ever lifting their vehicle; it happens for many different reasons.

Not everyone posts about it as they just figure it out themselves (especially if they installed the suspension on their own). This is especially true as I experienced it myself and know of a few others that have as well (and never felt the need to post about it).

I ran Fox 2.5 on my Tacoma, and figured out I needed to replace my LCA bushings.

I ran King 2.5 on my 4Runner, and well..I forget what caused it. Think it was my driveshaft so I lubed that fucker up.

Again, I never posted about it as I saw no need for it. Others will chime in with their own experience.

I’ve not heard of the eibach clunk. I suspect you might be over reacting to anecdotal information.

It can be found all over this forum lol. I’m not hating against any manufacturer just FYI.

    Not saying you're lying.

Think you're just overthinking it and assuming that a Fox or other popular brand won't give you the same results.

What I'm saying is, the clunk could be the result of having lifted your vehicle meaning something else was up or wrong that you haven't noticed before.
