Dang. That side profile on the non-cross member delete has me hesitating. Not sure what I expected, but it’s not as tiddy as I’d hope it would be with that option.

Yea. Feel without the crossmember delete you’ll get hung up on rocks etc

Facts. Honestly it’s just about the looks for me. I don’t wheel much, and definitely not hard. I simply like the overall looks/design of the RockRunner :notsure:

Sadly that 90* angle might be enough for me to pass on this bumper. Which is a bummer. It’s slick looking and priced very well. I’d have to get creative with lighting though. Going sans fogs is a non-starter for me.

Yea before seeing the crossmember delete I was already interested just seeing the front view. It’s a good looking bumper. For a second thought about it without the crossmember delete but once I seen that side view, think I’ll have to do it

I applaud your commitment. My CMC is about the max for any frame modding I’m willing to do.

    Delete or no?

I keep going back and forth on this bumper. Def no delete. Just if I’ll proceed as planned or go another route entirely. My bumper isn’t exactly intact at the moment, but not fully cut like yours.

I like this idea. My original thinking was to hard mount or fab a bracket of some kind for some S1/S2 style lights in the ‘fog light’ space.

Yeah I am doing some searching rn, and am calling the company from the second link to see if a pair of squadron SAE's would be compatible with the Light Mount for Baja Designs LP4 LP6 LP9 Auxiliary Light Pod – Pair

Okay so they said the Light Mount for Baja Designs LP4 LP6 LP9 Auxiliary Light Pod – Pair would work if you use the side bracket holes on the squadron SAE's, all you need is the proper thread bolt for it but this mount would make the light stick out a bit. Though another option which would help recess it is the Axia Alloys Small Light Mount for 4″ and smaller (1.75" option)

Anyone pay attention to the side of the bumper near the flares? I know it’s short for guys with bigger tires and cut fenders. But feel it’s way shorter. I cut 2.5” off my fenders but feel this is still more. Maybe I’m overthinking it.

Yeah noticed that still with trimmer fenders the bumper is still shorter. I feel like can live with that.

Since you can’t order the bumper painted and it only comes as raw metal what are y’all’s plans for painting? If you’re not getting this bumper what would you suggest then:
    - rattle can
    - powder coat
    - raptor liner
    - paint bay
Recommendations and why you’d choose one option over other the others?

I’m going the Steel-it rattle can way

Such a good quality & relatively easy to touch up

Not to mention how cheap it will end up being compared to powder coat

True, not a bad idea. If I do that I’m going to weld a TSS compatible bull bar on mine before I rattle can.
