Another BIG Brake Kit Option BBK OMG!

fyi, they were not going to put these on their black friday sale but I messaged them and they took 100 off and put it on the main page now, its not a huge discount but something.

 

The stainless brake lines they sell for the kit (GX460), does it fit our trucks?

 

I would say yes if it's selectable in the kit

 

Folks looking at the RR racing wilwood came out with direct mount kit using Aero6 so unless you want a bracket wilwood will be made to fit. They said they have a Tacoma kit so should be better match to master. Working on getting setup as a vendor for them as well.

 

after a while these have been wearing funny, I probably should have noticed but the pads overhang the rotor by 1/16 or so causing them to wear funny and squeal to the point I had to take them off and file down both sides, has anyone else had any similar issues?

 

I had to take off the brackets and drill the holes larger to get them to line up rr racing basically told me there is nothing wrong and there is no way the brackets were wrong...just information in case others are looking at this option.

 

I had to have them trim my brackets as they assumed the external dist seal versions were the same and they were both. Even then the holes were barely spaced to fit. I wound 2nd there is a margin of error on those.

wilwood now had direct fit Aero6 setups for our trucks.

if anyone is interested let me know. Started a site last year and dealer for SOS, r1 concepts and can also get Wilwoods.

Will keep that in mind if I decide to do rear disc brakes...not sure yet...im already running a few of your hand me downs lol
