After some off-roading, I noticed once back on the pavement that from my passenger side floor I could hear outside noise. What I mean is that there is no abnormal sounds but rather the sound of the engine especially when I lay on the gas is now audible from inside the cab as though my door was ajar...but specifically on my passenger side. Anyone have this happen before? something to do with insulation or sound dampening?

Found this unanswered thread after I checked on your profile. Do you have a CEL?

When I got my truck back from the dealer after a frame swap, I noticed a noise like the one you are describing. Like the truck is blowing or sucking air through the floor? They left a vacuum hose undone and it made this noise. When I took it back and they reconnected the hose, it went away.

I also hear something similar but less noticeable sometimes when I'm on the gas, but that's just my aftermarket cats flowing. They are under the pass floorboard.

Will take a look thanks for the comment. Not much on the web on this issue.
