And there's the star of the show. It turned out good. Got a hint of the brine too it, perfect. And juicy. My "assistant " did great. Resized_20231122_171057.jpg

    ... several hours later ...

Well this may have been the most miserable part of the job (thus far).
    :ballchain:

After several days, hundreds of trips to the cellar and back, an aching back and some bloodshed I have a heating duct under the sink.

    KIMG3600.jpg

The plenum box needed to roll into place and catch the pipe underneath while the toe board had to roll in place too -- all while pulling the pipe under the floor up into place.

This will all be sealed up and more importantly be hidden under the cabinet bottom. :bananadead:

    Another day. ;)

They are delicious… head shots FTW. 22 or 22 pellet. Used a Benjamin pump pellet as a kid to rack them up in an oak tree area. If ya don’t bother with skins and heads, quick work…

Add some screws, brackets & galvanized metal - done for the day.

The gray stuff is a water based duct sealer, the object is to get the heat into the house not under it. ;)

Those old die hard tools were designed to last, that's how they kept up the "life time warranty" promise.
Great to hear you have found ways to extend its useful life.

I thought this was white oak looking at the bark in the dark, then I put a saw in it and split some. Hickory, I do believe

That Reflectix also worked great to insulate the floors of my old 72 Corvette....Sold her when I bought the 23 TRD Pro.
