My mom loved doing puzzles. My sister texted me a picture of a 1000 piece puzzle of the University of Georgia Bulldogs stadium and said she could have used mom's help with it (it's basically a sea of tiny red jerseys that look like dots). I joked that I'd have to see of there was one for the Bison.

Progress after about 2 hours last night.

I can already tell this one is going to kind of suck.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I did one of those once, it was a picture of mixed nuts. Talk about a challenge.

Took a few years finding a piece here and there. Couldn’t take it apart when it was done. Been sitting in this box for many years.

I just got through working with member of the Hickory family, old man Pecan.
I think what you have there might be Ash. Ash lets you know right now how hard it is. Could be Hickory, or maybe Ash. Either of them make great handles. And tables.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. For us, Thanksgiving is the day where the prayer we say before dinner is especially meaningful. I have been married for 40 years. My wife's dad, Jim, always said this prayer with everyone holding hands around the table. He made sure to remind everyone what they should truly be thankful for, instead of the little bumps and bruises life throws at you. He started with God, our freedoms we enjoy here in the US, our family and hard work. It's a five minute prayer for sure, but it truly is what we take for granted. Anyway, this task was passed down to me 20 years ago. Now he is 96 and has basically checked out, he still stands and holds hands every year.
I will pass this honor down to my son soon.
It's not about religion, although it could be for sure. The prayer is simply about being thankful for what you have instead of sad for what you do not have.

Happy Thanksgiving intraweb friends. Safe travels all far and wide.

We've got a tradition now of eating Thanksgiving lunch out at a resort and then spending the evening in the woods. My nephew knocked down a young 8 point yesterday morning that came walking in before he and his daddy could get settled in the stand. He shot him with the rope from bringing the rifle up still attached. First buck. He's earning the name.

Morning all and happy thanksgiving. Have had a very productive year with many challenges, as I sit letting the hams smoke reflecting on the events I am thankful, to see now what is important.
I hope you all have a great day .
