I got my SS3 Pros today which I ordered two days ago shipping was super quick. I also changed out the interior light bulbs so now I can actually see the inside. Can’t wait to use the fogs in the snow and rain

Well I tried to R&R the PCV this morning: stuck/won't budge. I got the step-stool out for more leverage: no change, then got my big/tall son to give it a try: no luck, even pulling from the front of the truck. Nice straight path to it from the fender side once you thread your way past the hoses and such.

I have a service record that it was dealer changed at 15,000 (128k now) so it has been in there for a while. Only factor I can think of is the engine was cold and maybe 45 degrees out this morning. 3/8ths 6-point socket and two different ratchets. Decided to quit while I was ahead. I installed the new OEM hose and called it a day. Might warm it up and try it again. It's steel in an aluminum valve cover so maybe dis-similar metals at work here. Dunno. Might try a few shots with PB Blaster and light taps over a few days.

    Any suggestions/ideas would be appreciated!

As odd as it sounds, you might try to tighten it a little. Tighten, loosen, tighten, loosen, etc. Sometimes that will help to break free any crud that is keeping a fastener from coming out.

I'd hit it with some PB blaster and let it sit a day or 2, then I'd try it when the truck was warm. I recently did mine on a 4.0 and used a deep well 6pt socket with a 3/8 ratchet that was about 18" long. It was rock solid tight and broke loose all at once, so it was froze and not just torque holding it in. Like you said, dissimilar metals.

They are made by alpharex, they’re the Luxx series headlights in alpha black. They are expensive but you get what you are paying for they are really good quality

Thanks for the input. I have a deep 6pt and I was thinking I wish I had a longer ratchet or even a 1/2. I'm going to do the PB Blaster and tap it a few time over a few days. That worked on my front diff hex fill plug which would not budge. I would spray every few days and the put the socket on the plug and give it a few light hammer taps. It finally let go after several rounds of doing this.

That's a good suggestion. Thanks. I'll give it a try. I checked out a few videos and the majority of them it looked obvious that most of the people were putting a lot of muscle to it before it finally broke free with a "snap" sound. For one person with a decent impact ratchet it took quite a while for it to break it free.

Mounted a fire extinguisher to my access cab door. Made a 2-1/4" stand off with 1"×.120" square tubing and M8 nutserts mounted to the inner door structure. Cheap Amazon quick release mount and replaced the garbage hose clamps with slightly less garbage bolt style clamps. It's relatively sturdy but we'll see how it holds up.

Scored a great deal(free) on seats and a touch screen radio from a 15. Truck only had 79k on it, was going to auction. Way better than the factory casino carpet looking seats I had and the bolsters are nice. Just waiting on my Bluetooth harness. Seats still drying in pictures, they’re clean but still had to scrub them.
