I ordered a tailgate lock from Toyota of Greenville on Wed, didn't put in my VIN, and checked the box that I accept responsibility if the part is wrong because I didn't put in the VIN. This morning, I got an email from them saying that I needed to provide a VIN for them to place the order. I get it on a certain level because I'm sure people have ordered the wrong part and complained....but, I willingly took responsibility, please just send me the part I've installed on two other 3rd gens.

 

Does anyone know the part numba for the 17" steel wheel which comes as spare for 4runner? I haven't successfully searched anything since the new site scheme

does T sell any tool to service the 1gr oil filter assy, should I just get the motivx one?

Just got my 2014 TRD Sport Wednesday. This is my first post and thanks to this thread I was able to get an amazing deal on TRD Pro wheels and a pro grille. I ordered the older style rather than the new SEMA ones. They have the OLD SCHOOL look that fits the 2nd gen. Glad to have joined the forum and learn about this great offer. It's like 50% off!

Just got the beadlocks in. For some reason they were airfreighted in one of the biggest boxes I’ve ever received. Guess it’s good shipping was free

Annoyed with the "free" shipping as it does not add up. Prior to submitting the order it was $834 and change, After it went through the price Jumped. I followed up calling Lewis of Toyota not 5 minutes after talking with the parts counter and was told I need to call back Monday seeing if they can fix whatever happened.



Thinking I was crazy I ran it again and here is the result.

What's the part number on the skid plate hardware? I need to get the 4 screws that hold on the little plate for the oil filter cover. Mine are starting to strip even though I'm super careful and don't over tighten

Same. Only thing I could potentially do is order a new clutch and put it on the shelf until I need it.

 

How frustrating. Wondering if you could order elsewhere and cancel/ chargeback this? Of course, there's always the chance of running into the same issue.

 

I'm calling first thing in the morning seeing if I can get a manager. As-is the order will need to be cancelled or refused if they decide to force the issue. I'll post an update either way as I'd like to see others avoid this issue is possible.
