Congrats to you too! The house is an awesome step in life. But there is nothin better than your own kid. We just made it through the first year. It’s a whirlwind of everything but such an amazing life experience. Love being a dad.

    Retired/Hobbyist old as f***
Man you guys make me feel old. In my 3rd house for 30 years, my 3 kids are in their late 20's and 30's and been retired 3 years. Glad all that stuff is behind me but I wouldn't trade any of the experiences. Oh I am old.

Stuck caliper precipitated an earlier than necessary brake refresh. Rotors, calipers, pads, flex lines and thanks to the NorthEast, first two sections of hard brake lines. Days of heat, PB Blaster, and patience but still couldn’t get the fittings to spin. IMG_3903.jpg image.jpg
Edit: Wondering if I had the rotors backward last time, slots facing the opposite direction. I triple checked the new ones because the direction is counterintuitive to me.

No grandkids to keep you busy yet? The youngest, a 13-month old boy, stared exchanging "fives" with me yesterday. He's not specifically high or low fives yet... I gave the 5-year old granddaughter a fishing tackle kit for her little spincasting rod, as suggested by one of the guys at Black Sheep Sporting Goods (one of ATK's top dealers) and I mentioned that a 5-year old girl in Homer, Alaska caught a 200+ lb. halibut from the beach some years back. (They do come up shallow to feed at times, fun for fly fishermen.) It's fun to hang out with that much energy for a little while...

Nope. Just 1 granddaughter that is 16. Getting the old Camry ready for her. Feeling old because she worked Thanksgiving so she wasn't there.

did you just go up a size or you made the room and upgraded components for the jump? Been wanting to do the same but not sure if my ps pump, rack and pinion will like it. Any I for on what you did would be appreciated.

Just went up in size. Haven't done anything to accommodate them yet. Will be cycling the suspension one of these weekends so I can see how much I'll be cutting. Definitely looking into steering options as I've blown through 2 racks on 35's

Was mine when my wife and I were dating. She needed a new car, I needed a truck. I think we may be ditching it next year though.

Congrats on the kid and house and career! I’m looking at that same jack, pretty decent jack?

Thanks! I have yet to use the jack but I have heard good things about them. Especially for the price point.

Most likely the final at home/hand wash of the year/winter. Hoses are put away and water is shut off to the Spigots.

Did my part for the economy. Treated myself to a 160L Roam case and a pair of Matrax and mounting pins.
