What's up, TacomaWorld and my 2nd Gen homies.

Tis the season for remote-start wishing. A few months ago I was researchingoptions and was looking at the 12VoltSolutions and other plug-and-play solutions. I was digging under the dash to get an idea of the hassle it would take and I saw what I believe to be a control module installed by the previous owner.

I am not in the States right now so I had my dad and sister digging around under the dash. Trying to explain to them over FaceTime what to look for when I don't even really know myself proved to be fairly difficult.

Anyway, I (they) found the box and it is labeled FLCAN(32). Picture is attached below. A quick Google search says that it's made by FlashLogic and when you plug-in my vehicle information it gives guides for an ADS-AL(TB)-TL5 and an FLC-AL(TB)-TL5. I believe I have the FLC-AL(TB)-TL5 stand-alone module because neither of them could see an iDataLink Maestro box down there with it.

So now my question(s) to you...

Is there any way to know which transmitter and/or antenna to order to get this functioning as it should? The truck came with neither, for whatever that is worth.

Is there anywhere else under the dash or elsewhere I should ask them to look for more hardware or anything else that might help us?

I have also contacted AudioVoxx, Viper, and Compustar with the same question and supplemental information as FlashLogic lists them as "Compatible Remotes."
