Gen 3 Suspension Recommendations

    Looking to add some suspension to my 2023 TRD/OR. Curious if anyone has a good starting place for me. To be honest, it's probably 70/30 aesthetic to functional, as i like the look of a bit more stance (a la the TRD Pro) but i also dont want to get just blocks to raise it that serve zero actual function.

    so recco's on anything that would be a nice blend of adding ~2" to the stance while also improving the overall suspension (and not breaking the bank) would be appreciated!

    to be clear i have very little context of this world so just appreciate any help the community can provide.

    I think your budget is the most important factor. How much do you want to spend? You've already indicated you're willing to spend more than a block lift. With suspensions, it really is true -- the more you spend, the nicer it is.

    You want to make the front taller and the back taller. So most likely you're replace the front struts and the rear shocks, and then you'll need to lift the rear a bit more. You can replace the leaf springs in the rear (expensive) or you can get an add-a-leaf package for the rear (cheaper).

    The big brands have kits to make it easier (King, Icon, etc).

    Honesty i think trying to figure that out a bit as well. Looking around, it seems like 1k - 1.5k would get me in the ballpark that I might want to be in? but also hoping for some guidance there. I think 1.5k would be the cap though, ideally.

    King 2.5’s with adjusters from accutune front and rear, 88 rotors rear add a leaf, Camburg X-joint UCA’s, Factory style trd pro 16” wheels with 0 offset, 285/75/16 KO2’s, pro grille, Front bumper viper cut, trd front skid plate, full RCI under skid plates, Cali raised trail sliders, exhaust cut dump, KDMax 10.0 tune
    With that budget, I’d say Bilstein 6112’s and 5160’s would be your best bet.

    Bilstein 5100s set @ 1.1" to 1.5" up front will be the most practical, and best bang for the buck, (without any lift in the rear). Bilstein even recommends you keep the oem coils.

    Myself, I'm super happy with my 2" 5100s up front, and 1" block in the rear. I wouldn't go higher than 1" in the rear, nor 2" up front.
