TRD Pro sensor garnish matte black decal attempt

    First time Taco owner and already doing some mods..

    Well I got myself one of these knock off grilles to see how I like it over OEM style.

    I ended up hating the garnish as the silver really stood out…. Figured I would try my hand at making a matte black decal to cover the silver parts.

    After about 3-5 size adjustments... Not perfect and I may go back and try to perfect the decal size but overall it looks a lot better.

    Not bad, but you can just wrap the whole garnish in 30-50% tint film and it will look much better. :thumbsup:

    Sounds like a great option too. I had a vinyl cutter and boredom. Haha

    I drive a Miata.
    It will be real interesting to see if you get a "clean the sensor" error over that one.

    I've noticed that mine is hypersensitive to inconsistencies across the garnish face. It will ignore vinyl but gets upset if it sees an air bubble in that vinyl, for example.
