Hopeful Triumphant Return!

Another update. He text me saying he thinks a hydraulic line is clogged. I think he means his clutch fluid line from the master cylinder to the slave. He's not mechanically inclined. He said he's going to take it to toyota to deal with it. I just hope they don't offer him 7500 for it!

 

Sorry for getting back to this so late! I need to message the guy. He took it to Toyota for a new clutch and I haven't heard from him since. He probably wants to keep it at this point (insert crying face)

 

If Toyota does do the clutch replacement he'll probably want to up the price cause I bet it won't be cheap.

 

He responded and is deciding to keep it. Bummer for me but lucky for him if the clutch is easier to operate after his leg surgery.

 

Next time he offers it for sale, buy it as-is. People will sell their vehicle because of a perceived major problem, then once those issues are sorted, they will change their mind.
