    Here are the instruction to do the recovery.

    “just input the key on the recovery form and then the recovery buttons will be accessible and recover the ECU, selecting a stock file”.

    Just out of curiosity after the tune was complete did you key the truck off once and then start or multiple times. I had a similar issue tune was flashed successful, instead of a single key off and start i cycled the key 2-3 times and then tried to start. Had a crank no start, couldn't force flash, pulled the ecu to bench flash it but that was not successful either. Matt was sure it was soft bricked but did not know why it happened, i ran out of options and needed the truck so i went out and picked up a used matching ecu for cheap. Hopefully you will have better luck than me

    I turned it off right away and tried to start it. I have the ecu out now but I don’t know if I’m capable of figuring out this wiring for the bench flash recovery thing.

    where did you buy the ecu from?

    You will need some small wires for jumpers i used these, it was honestly simple but still had same issue. Only option was to send the ecu to Matt and he doesn't live in the states. Picked it up off ebay, was plug and play just had to write my vin to it super simple with techstream and it fired right up. I threw caution to the wind and couldnt live without a tune so i tuned it again no issues. I thought maybe cycling the key on/off a few times maybe bricked mine. I still have it would be nice to get it unbricked as a backup. I think the used ecu was like $100

    I do a two off and on cycle on every truck I tune. On the 2nd Gen it’s a must, so to keep from having a memory lapse I started doing it on all tunes. No issues to date, thank the Lord!

    All the mods; all the problems
    Do you have the bench flash instructions? It's easiest to spend an hour and make a well wired harness. Any slight connection issues and it won't bench flash. I've recovered 2 ecu's and it is a pain to setup the first time. Stay calm, breathe, take your time. You'll get it!

    I was given the diagram but im not the best at wiring and understanding that process lol. I’m going to a junkyard tomorrow to pick one up they have according to their website. So we’ll see. I just put the ecu back in the truck after being out for awhile, hoping it would be fixed but no luck.

    truly unfortunate for me.

    $175 at my local junkyard. They are around 105-200$ on eBay, but I'd like to hopefully get the truck back up and running tomorrow.
