Triple square is one of the dumbest drives I’ve discovered. Mostly because my trailer has them and the goons apparently used a square and rounded them out

I'd seriously consider a new iphorce-max as a daily/winter vehicle. My current taco is transitioning more and more intro trail toy. It'd be fun to have something that could tow a bit.

Some good progress on the flatbed today. Some tough fabrication for those youngsters to consider and accomplish!
The Haunch Pockets (as I call them) got boxed in as did the wheel opening area to the spare tire. those storage areas are enormous! I think one side can hold all of my recovery gear!

Rear Splash panel got manufactured (won't have a drawer, but...) and the wood for the deck is done being machined... Students got a fair amount of shaper time in doing the TG and squaring up. So, a bit of a decking teaser... Still lots to do, but getting closer.

So last winter a buddy of mine got me out ice fishing a couple times, something I had not done in decades. I'm kinda looking forward to getting out as often as I can this winter. One thing I'd like to do is ditch my 30+ year old blaze orange one piece and get a good new coat and bibs. I'd like to get a set with some float technology and have been looking at Striker Ice and Eskimo. Any ice fishermen here with advice/experience/opinions? I don't want to break the bank, but I'll pay for decent stuff if it also means I can clear the closet of a couple other old coats.

Maybe we should see who might be interested in an ice fishing outing over on the events page too!

I do. The kitchen and such is going in the bunker behind the spare. I am thinking of making a mount on the splash panel to hold the stove. Should be able to get all of the rest and some food storage in there. Seems to be that I will have an empty haunch pocket as well. Migh be able to move the tools and such into that other haunch locker from inside. Locking handle is in order... I think I will have a local sheet metal place KBK make the doors for those haunch lockers so they fit well and are water tight. Might be another expensive part of this project... Still need to confirm that the winch will fit in the forward locker in front of the spare. Then headache rack.
