Tall axel ratio will probably be negated by the two additional gears

^That's true on paper. 1st gear on the AC60 is between the 1st and 2nd gears on the 8-speed. 2nd gear on the AC60 is close to 3rd gear on the new one. However, the turbo needs rev to build boost.

On a completely different note, Corrosion Free rattlecans are on sale at $6.80 at Peavey Mart if you got one in your area. They normally go for $17: https://www.peaveymart.com/automoti...rust-cure-formula-3000-14oz-aerosol-can/13410

Yeah, it’s also probably gonna depend on what the torque curve looks like.

A lot of small turbo gas motors make peak TQ at 3k, so if that’s the case I can see the ratio making sense.

With cosmoline I usually use 6 cans on the frame and rear axle. Figure Corrosion Free would have similar coverage.

TLDR; at the sale price just stock up and keep an inventory!

There is some Canadian law banning the sale of high-VOC aerosols starting next year. (You may have heard the fake story of WD-40 being banned.) Most products will be reformulated to comply with the new regs at greater cost. Another reason to stock up now.

I plan to install an outlet attached to a "fire route" sign that i park beside and just gonna use the block heater.
For $250 ish i can get the battery tender and the cabin heater to hook up into the OEM block heater harness that i installed in the fridged north.

Dont need to burn that 1.35/liter gas!

Too shiny!!!! Needs a lil trail on it now ;)

Also good opportunity for some rust proofing while its off. Peavy mart was sold out when I went last night. They are giving rain checks tho with no quantity limit; tonights the last night. (wd-40 is also 6.99 a can). Staff also confirmed price increases across the board next year.
