Cooper Discoverer A/T3 megathread?

Anyone else running into out of stock?

 

I believe they've been discontinued and I'm not 100% but I think they're being replaced by the Discoverer Road and Trail AT

Gonna be kinda bummed if the Discoverer AT3 4s is discontinued. I like the less aggressive sidewall.

 

Well it’s true they have been axed

 

Got mine installed this morning. no real opinions on these vs the Kelly AT Edge that i had on previously. The kelly only lasted around 45k miles before needing to be replaced. hoping these will last longer than 55k .

 

@auskip07 love the dark bronze wheels. The wheel and tire package looks fantastic. Just the right amount of rugged for your Taco.

 

Is it true that the Discoverer AT3 4s is being discontinued?

 

@IPNPULZ sorry for the delayed response. Although there are plenty of units for order currently, the AT3 4S may be replaced by the new Road and Trail A/T.

 

Just wanted to thank everyone for the info in this thread. Got a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S mounted this morning at Discount Tire thanks to our forum vendor.

Stock size 265/70/R16 TRD OR wheels. They look nice.

 

No worries and thanks! I just don’t wanna buy tires and need to replace one down the road and not be able to get them.

 

Time to suck it up and get the XLTs. They look better anyways

That's the tire size I'd like to get. How do you like the tires?

 

I do a lot more highway driving now prob have about 6000 miles on them quiet and smooth on the pavement not to bad offroad if you pressure down biggest complaint which isnt really that big of a deal is they like to pick up gravel in the tread and then fling it out once ou get back on pavement

 

Nice. I've got mud flaps for the rocks. I've been wanting a set of these for a while. Those suckers are beefy and look cooler than any other tire IMO without having an obnoxious looking sidewall like my BFG K02's.

 

I think you will enjoy them after this set Ill prob. buy them again. I can't even begin to notice any wear I opted for the coopers over the wildpeaks.
