Hey everyone, I definitely need help on this one. I’ve been in and out of 88 rotors trying to figure out the damn metal on metal sound and they narrowed it down to the front passenger body mount bushing near the radiator. I took it to the dealer and told them the problem and showed them how crooked the bushing is but they said they couldn’t replicate the noise and didn’t see anything wrong. Does anyone know a place in SoCal that can replace these mounts for relatively cheap or anyone that can do it themselves? I have the replacement mounts, but I don’t have the tools unfortunately. Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to change the bushings or the no shit sheet metal mounts?

If it’s changing the bushings, use the stock bottle jack and place it between the white metal part and the lower crash bar and it will easily separate the two to give you space to pull the bolt, old bushings and slide the new ones in

as for cutting and welding new mounts, good luck

oh man you got this then!!!

place the bottle jack kinda like this, I had a viper cut so it was easy to access, this photo is when I first did the energy suspensions bushing swap and the big puck goes on top (it’s wrong in the photo and I changed it)

Oh you did the energy suspension one? Do you have the part numbers for everything? It was saying it wouldn’t work with my 2022. I bought these but I don’t know how good they are….

I did use the energy suspensions bushing and it should work on a 2022, the link I posted above has the part number.

    Energy Suspension- 9.4101G UNIVERSAL MOUNT

the ones you bought should work fine, they look just like the OEM. May have to replace them again in a couple years tho
