Just as an FYI/reference for anyone that might be looking for one of these in the future: (mine was missing when I bought my truck) I checked this part number using the VIN from my 2014 V6 DC and my son's 2005 4cyl Access Cab on a random local dealer's parts web site and both came back as a fit. There was also a note on the page as per below indicating it is the correct part number for the entire line and years of the 2nd gen Tacoma.

It's the high solids content factor that's the killer

Edit: As an example my Carrera white from same manufacturer is $494. If you want Glasurit or Sikkens for either color it's big $$ but much better quality paint than what I just mentioned

 

Okay, now take that 'barn' whimsy on the right end of the house, invert it & tack it onto the left end of the house.

You end up with two tandem garages for 4 car parking & ... killer master suite, theater, monster orchid room, one heck of a parts attic.

Somebody here must be good with Photochop...

 

My hope for 2024 was to take down those trees between the shed and the house, and then put up a steel building/shop with a lift. We just need to see an estimate on all of that work and the structure! Probably the most costly part will be getting a concrete pad poured (with drainage of course for winter washing!)

Fridays are usually so dead at work, and now with all of the people using up excess PTO, it should be even more relaxing and quiet

 

Morning all. Off to the vet shortly before work. Taking the dog in for a checkup. His hip has been bothering him again....Im sure the cold weather that seems to be here to stay doesnt help. Hes been in before for his hip, hes too young for this.

 

Still have some vacation days to use up...

Can't use any next week because I'll have to cover for my coworker again because he's part of a team that's testing out a new system we're putting together, and then he's off the last 2 weeks of December.

So taking off the week of the 11th, and that will leave me with 3 or 4 days left that my supervisor is checking to see if I can carry any of those over. If I can't, then I'm SOL.

That will teach me for next year, to not be "nice" and wait around until the end of the year saving my time off just in case.

 

Lesson learned Nuno. Unless you're in a contractual situation like I was where you can carryover time use EVERYTHING. i was fortunate to also get paid at retirement for unused vacation and a partial payout for unused sick time, it was a hefty check.

 

This is what I get for being "nice" and saving my time just in case anything comes up and I need to do anything.

From now on, screw it! I'll use up everything before November, and if something happens that I need to take a day off here or there and not get paid, then so be it. Tired of playing this "game" of saving my time just in case, to then scramble at the end of the year to use it up so I don't lose it.

 

What kind of pups? I know some of them out there are more susceptible to hip issues. We have a pug which has their fair share of issues as well, mostly in the jaw area.

I still have 4 days to take so I am doing every Monday until the christmas shutdown. Such a shame to be using these days to just sit at home really. I do not have much going on in terms of house projects, though I may start building some drawers for the garage workbench to keep me busy.

Where I am, my boss and even his boss nail down the point every week of USE EVERYTHING. My new boss here takes time off and you do not hear from him at all until he gets back. Everywhere I worked before, I would always hear from management even on their time off because they had that sick mentality of "if I am not here, everything is going to fail". It feels refreshing to not be in such a toxic environment. Working at a HUGE company for the win!

I put it back together and it still smells. Insurance is paying to pull the carpet back out.

 

German Shepherd/ cane corso mix. He's 110lbs lol. Inflammation in the knees and mild hip displaisa. Time for a diet and some pretty heavy duty joint supplements from the vet. Should be manageable after that
