I added a door to the front drivers side of the camper.
This allows better access to that space and the battery (replaced the 6v golf cart batteries with a lithium. It’s 98 pounds lighter.
I went from 115 usable amp hours to 100)

I’ve been working on some interior projects. The white is bedliner.
The black round thing on top the cabinet is the diesel heater duct.

Yeah, this one was a balance between storage space and leaving enough elbow room to move around freely inside.

That’s the ground for my 12v electric blanket.
I normal run grounds back to a blue seas fuse box but I ran out of wire so grounded it there. I’ll run a wire to the fuse box eventually.

Yeah, my sleeping platform panels are pink owens corning foamular with high end plywood around the outside edges and then wrapped in 6oz cloth and epoxy.

I'd say I have about 50 hours into it so far.
I'm currently joining the 2 halves into one single panel and narrowing the whole thing so it'll clear the gas struts. This way I'll be able to push the whole platform up into the ceiling to get it out of the way rather than removing the mattress and both panels like I do now.

It's taking a very long time. I can only imagine building a whole camper like that.

What would you estimate the weight of your camper to be? I’m looking at building one but very worried about closing in on my gvwr, I’ve got the 1999 3RZ 5spd manual so I’m allready very underpowered.

I think with everything in it and loaded for a trip around 1,000 pounds.

if you haven’t ready check out overland under budget’s flat bed canopy build on YouTube.

One of my friends said rabbit.
I asked why and he said because they have sex.
    I think that's reasonable.
