Been busy the last few days. GF and I drove to Overland East and back, I put the cart catchers back on her (until I actually get real rock sliders), and I replaced the front leaf spring bushings and added greasable bolts (yes, there is a jack stand in conjunction with the hi-lift). Really glad at how much of the ridiculous squeaking is gone now!

Thanks! It's been nice working on something that isn't completely rusted out for once!

Previous owners didn't do the 30k maintenance, so I've been making sure to take care of her. She was a bone stock beauty but I love her even more with all her extra goodies now!

Heck yeah! I tend to dump photos here, whereas kinda filter them out on Instagram. Either way usually ends up all the same pics. Snap has a few that occasionally show up on their Facebook page too

A couple projects over the last few days. Pretty much just maintenance as I passed the 90k mark now. Transfer case, diffs, tranny fluid and oil. Also installed a new dashcam. Still need to do spark plugs to finish off the maintenance. Picked up two cans of fluid film today so I can undercoat while I have the skids off too. When I replaced the front diff nut I welded a large but to it so I can use a proper socket to get it off next time. Welds weren't the prettiest but should hold!

Got rid of the wannabe rock sliders in favor of some true bolt-on sliders. Had a few people look at me like I'm nuts while I was priming them with a respirator and full paint set up in the back alley

Shiny new console and cupholders for my truck. Thanks to some jackwagon stealing mine. Hopefully I'll have pics of my diy fridge/stove today. Been releasing teaser shots on instagram, but hopefully finally finishing it up today!

I think the original goal was to steal the truck (neighbors truck was stolen a few months ago) but my guess is the manual transmission threw a wrench in those plans. It was very weird because they didn't steal anything other than the center console. Cracked the cupholder insert when they ripped it out. People are weird, man

Sounds like having a MT was your saving grace! Not many folks can drive them nowadays. Yeah i agree, there are some crazies out there.

So I've been busy and haven't updated in a while. I've been making a lot of good progress on the build out in the camper. Still plenty to do, but nice to see things happening. I swapped the badlands winch for a smittybilt 9500lb winch. Badlands just needs a new relay, but I already had the Smitybilt on hand when I realized that, so figured I'd install the more reliable winch. Thinking about pulling the stove from under the fridge so that it's usable without having to have the tailgate down. I also picked up a set of Expedition leaf springs that need a coat of POR15 and then should be good to go on the truck, hoping to have the time this week to get that doneIMG_20210410_003752_137.jpg 20210410_093110.jpg DSCF0551.jpg 20210419_181805.jpg IMG_20210419_192834_875.jpg
