I'm looking at places that are somewhat in the middle of everyone who has expressed interest in the holiday meetup. There's a few places in Oconomowoc that look interesting, but I haven't been to any of them. I might have to do some scouting. If anyone is interested in helping with research next weekend or the following, let me know. ;)

Or, we could look at something in the Milwaukee/Waukesha area. I just prefer to stay on the outskirts of Milwaukee county or close to the freeway in Waukesha.

We could add a stop by @WiscoPat 's garage to start, but then we'll probably want to go somewhere within a reasonable drive from there. I know there's a brewery not far from there, but iirc the food selection was limited, and parking might be interesting.

    Thoughts?

I've had enough of "interesting" parking in my lifetime. I want "Rock Star/VIP" parking.

I just saw the title change LOL. Love ya James.

My vote would be Raised Grain in Waukesha. Plenty of parking, tons of seating, good food, good beer, and close to the freeway. It's 10 miles from my place (or about a 20 min drive), so those that want to check out the garage are welcome to, and we can all otherwise meet there.

    Haha! I figured you'd like that. :D

This works for me. I'm looking forward to it already.

How about we plan on being at Raised Grain at 3, and you can decide what time you want people to come check out the garage. I'll be interested in seeing it, for sure. It makes me want to finish what I started in my garage.

    WTF

You already get senior citizens parking. You're allowed to use 2 spaces.
What more could a person ask for?

    :D:D:D:D

Relax, I won't be crashing any parties this time.
That's too far for me to go for a handshake and a n/a beverage.

Sounds good to me. I can have anyone interested over at 1:30pm/2:00pm and we can head over to Raised Grain by 2:45pm.

For those who don't have my address, send me a DM.

I’m hopeful to make the meetup, and also take part in the garage appreciation celebration! Has Bessie gotten comfortable in there yet?

Sharing a couple of photos from this fall's events at Tigerton since @Pixeltim is getting his calendar stuff together. I have more video than photos on this trip but that's going to take a while so this is best I got for now.

Stumbled on a couple good deals. They're all good tools to me.
I started with Makita, so naturally kept buying what I have the batteries for.

Limited-time deal: DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Drill and Impact Driver, Power Tool Combo Kit with 2 Batteries and Charger, Yellow/Black (DCK240C2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJ0ALYS

I've seen Primus a bunch of times, and one of Les's side projects. I've never seen Victor Wooten, but I bought a used fretless jazz bass the day I put the deposit down on the Warwick, and it had his autograph along with Steve Bailey on the headstock.
