Truck driver b.s.

Waiting to see if penske has a heavy haul tractor with a switch for the drop axles, I may switch trucks again today.

My week is done! And a shitty one it was

 

My week is not done, but still shitty!

 

It's FRIYAY! But I have to work tomorrow yet. We'll I swapped out my rental truck for one that is a heavy haul with drop axle. Truck is a total p.o.s. international, seat is worn out and a metal bar would hit you right in the low back if I didn't use a lumbar pillow. Penske bought out a rental company we used. This truck was in the lineup to go to auction, they pulled it out and slapped some penske stickers on it so they could rent it. Then spent a couple hours with it figuring out the wiring to get the lift axles to work. So typical for me, I drive a p.o.s. and get a p.o.s. rental. I got shown what a nice newer truck is like with the first rental.
So that's my day yesterday. And it was a long one because of all the delays with rental b.s.

 

Ok today and tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow is going to be a short day for you. Then a nice weekend.

Well it snowed here and the boss doesn’t want us hauling mud on the first big snowstorm of the season so I’m hanging out at the wrecker company today.

 

Got sideswiped by another truck while attempting to pass. Knocked my passenger mirror into the cab, otherwise no damage. I really thought I was going to get hurt. Said he thought he saw a dog in the road and was trying to avoid it. Classic dog in the road excuse.

 

Not the first time btw.

Sat am, coffee time before work. Last day of my week. I hope it's a short one. I fuking hate 6 day work weeks.

 

Yep BS because hit the animal to save a life of a human.

Was raining this morning but it seems to have quit for awhile. 40 and cloudy now.

 

Still foggy and still waiting on it to start raining.

Now I'm relaxing at home. I think I'll go down to my woodshop for some mental therapy. Still overcast and damp out so I really don't feel like working out in the garage even though I should. Hmm maybe I better re think this.........

Back at it. Still no truck. Haven't had my truck since October 11. It's been Back twice, never made it out of the yard both times.

 

I'm still in a rental too.
