    Hey,

2016 with 160,000 kms and my tailgate has developed looseness in the hinges that causes a loud clunk over rail way tracks or sharp pavement edges. Dealer says there is no bushing kit and have to replace hinges which would need to be colour matched.

Anyone else experience this and any tips/tricks to solve.

    TIA G

Pics might be useful and/or a more detailed description of the problem.

I broke the bushing in my 2016 only to find that the first ones produced had this one off bushing. I believe that it was only within the first 3 months of production, then they switched to the newer style.. I went by the dealership and tried to explain to the parts guy that they didnt make a part, he insisted that the new part would fit, well it didnt. I went back and since this time I was a little loud the manager asked what the problem was, I explained and they replaced the entire assembly.
