Best configuration and features camper shell for dogs and camping?

I have a short bed Tacoma I’m looking to purchase my first camper shell and don’t have any prior experience. I am likely to move forward with an ARE CX, classic or Leer 100Xr. Can anyone recommend what type of configuration I should go with in terms of features, for example, is the carpet insulation worth it? Should I go with sliders and pet screens, or windoors?, is there any other must-have features which you would recommend?

main use would be to have my dog ride in the bed and sleep in when camping. Will also store my sports gear. Occasionally I might sleep diagonally when on road trips?
