2023 Lunar Rock TRD OR Access Cab

I have this Tonneau Cover from Amazoodle- the first Xcover roll up tonneau they sent me seems too short-can’t get it to lock closed so they’re sending me a replacement.
Anyone have this same problem or own this roll up tonneau?

I can’t get the locking mechanism pictured to lock shut. I’ve followed the directions carefully & this isn’t my first tonneau cover, it’s my third-I’ve liked my Tyger soft roll up but was happy to do away with the Velcro-the Xcover doesn’t have Velcro and the design looked good, but either sux in reality or I got a defective unit.
