Insane we can be an hour-ish apart in the state and we have totally different weather patterns. I think you mentioned selling the ATV before, I could be a potential buyer some day if you do sell, just saying!

a good 4 wheeler is a life saver.

then you get past the daredevil stage & find out that a good sidexside can do most the same things with a way better ride for DOUBLE the price.

THEN you get old & find out that if you fit in a mini truck its better than either of those cause it has heat/ac & is really cheap.
(detractor is not as cushy of a ride as a sidexside)

would love to have a hi trak/hi flow w/mulcher for a few months. then just re sell it. my wife would sh@t. but man if you dont break it, you can wreck shop with that.
but for now my "toy" is gonna be the mini excavator. sigh.

You are gonna want a leak down kit next.

I like using that when I have an engine on the bench.

dont be undervaluing your input. its very obvious your the man on these mower motors.

pretty sure on the Kawasaki motor its supposed to be anything above 125psi & within 5lbs of each other.

My fiancee has family in Westfield/Agawam and every time we go there, they have no snow while we have a couple feet piled up. It's funny.

I've thought about selling it. It needs some little stuff. I should probably go through the whole thing and put a couple hundred bucks into it to fix the couple of quirks/worn parts, change the fluids, maybe do new brakes. Or if I sold it, someone else should do that. I use it so infrequently that I tend to forget that I should address some stuff.

I've done some stuff since I've owned it. Things like oil changes, air filter changes, spark plug changes, replaced coolant with Engine Ice, just put a new battery in it, and a friend helped me do wheel bearings a few years ago. I thought about buying tires and wheels for it because one has a slow leak and I'd like to go back to the stock size, but haven't brought myself to spend the money on something I only use for a few hours per year.

I like having it, but if I look at subcompact tractors in the spring it probably makes more sense to sell it along with my x500 and recover the shed space and throw the money at the tractor.

    It's a 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660. I think it's got around 3000 miles and maybe 600 hours on it.

16 year old Built-Rite still spitting out the splits.
    8 way wedge

Chute on left is attached to an old processor and its hydraulic chainsaw.
We removed the ram & wedge & just use it for the smaller wood, up to 12 inches.
    Still feeds the wood through

Definitely keep me in mind. I don’t mind making the trip back out to you to pick up the ATV if you end up selling. Happy to put some work in it too. I’d get good use with it up here. Have some trails to explore and some property work it can be used for.

I was looking at SXS prices as an option for snow removal and leisure. Man those things are not cheap.

if you got a farm or a small farm... large property....

Mini truck is the way to go! can haul way more than a side by... fully enclosed, heat, a/c, ps... pw & pl if ya want, road legal a lot of places... mine gets about 50mpg.
the newer ones have remote start/lock & anything else you can imagine.

brand new ones, fully loaded are only about 16k. HALF the price of a good side by.

but if you are poor like me? ive got about $2500 in the one you see with the plow. my other one was a bit fancier, but was too nice for farm work.

I had one years ago, they are handy. I couldn't drive mine on the road though.

I think you got a bad head gasket. It heats up and expands allowing gasses to leak the pressure down.

I think you would love using a leak down kit. It really takes the guessing out of the game.

I always change both head gaskets. My OCD won't let me do only the one leaking. It's only another 10 minutes of work and gaskets are cheap compared to the time getting the engine apart.

I think if I’m gonna go through the trouble of removing the engine I’ll do them both. I’ll take it apart and take one to a buddy of mine who’s a Kohler dealer and see if he can match it up. The sticker is gone off the engine and I don’t know what the numbers are.
