That’s what sites like FCP Euro are for.

If you know BMWs, you know that every single part on them gets white labeled for half the price to German car part retailers.

I recently had my truck in for an oil change at the dealer, they wanted $200 for a cabin filter clean lol. I have a reusable filter in there and it took me a whole 30 min to do myself including the wash and dry of the filter in the sun.

Not sure if still true, but Mann was the OEM provider for Volvo oil and air filters at one time. Volvo box, Mann printed on the component inside. They were very high quality.

    The truck isn't worth $19?

You guys are so cheap I'm surprised y’all aren't riding to work on a Huffy mtn bike you found at a yard sale

If nothing else it keeps debris out of expensive components in the HVAC box.

Are you saying there are actually people that don't ride to work on a Huffy they found at a yard sale?? I got mine off the curb on trash
pick-up day. Got a Trek too one time. I thought it was some kind of webcam trap... then noticed it had two flats. Pumped them up when I got home.... reaction from spouse for dumpster diving (again) was way worse than the police ever showing up would have been anyway.

    Still holding air.

You weren't listening. They were talking about cleaning the evaporator coil. I haven't done the service myself but I believe it involves some special tools and a foaming liquid. Probably a gimmicky up-sale for sure but still more involved than just "cleaning" the filter.

Hey bro I love my Huffy:). The only difference between the cheap and the expensive is the amount and size particles it traps. We’re talking micron size particles. Does it make a difference? I think it’s up to the individual. Most people can’t tell the difference. So do what ever make ya all feel good.

I hate to say it but cabin filter threads of which there’s been many are like oil and tire threads, there has never been a consensus and there never will be.

    I agree with this.

For what it’s worth….I’ve used these for the last two go arounds and I haven’t had to part my truck out yet. I’m sure they’re all fine, like has been said before it’s really just a piece of paper in a box.

You know, that would be better than nothing I guess. Cabin air filters absolutely serve a purpose, just don't over think (or over pay) on this one. :)
