Another day - another heat run done.
That pole was right in the way, I contemplated taking it out ;) but it seemed like a lot more work...

Lots-o-fun working on the muddy side hill.

    KIMG3646.jpg

I painted all the connections with the gray duct seal, when it dries on goes the foil insulation. Only 2 more to go!

In other news, the plastic coated copper gas line arrived today - almost $300!
It is sold by the 60' roll.

Damn, Sam... That one hurt. :pout:

(Remember, I paid $200 for the furnace)

I heat to 71 and cool to 74.

I'm hoping after the blinds to curtains project that my AC will be happier.

Lol no. Imagine it as an eraser. Except erasing pencil marks, it removes all the wood dust build up from sandpaper. It is rubber and you put it on rotating sandpaper, like a belt sander. It will remove all the wood dust build up and you have a clean piece of sandpaper again!

This is one of these items you spend $5 on and it lasts 25 years and works great. My block is 25 years old and still has 75 years left. And I have cleaned hundreds of pieces of sandpaper!
BTW this is a half inch wide finger belt sander. I use it all the time. 18"belt.

I just picked one up today. Funny you should mention using one.

I hope it works good on shaping knife handles.

This little tool is amazing for me. I bought it several years ago for a specific task and never dreamed it would be so versatile. I bought the cheapest one (Wen) and it is great. I did buy an assortment or belts from 40G to 120G. It saves a buttload of time and saves your fingers, hence the name "finger sander."
    For the shop people here:

Seeing pictures of your basement reminds me of the earth basement I had in Washington. It took me years of fighting the flooding from the annual raining season to stop the water from swamping the furnace and water heater. :annoyed: Oh the memories...
