Between Tacoma Lifestyle and FedEx I may never get my package

    To be sure this is much more about FedEx than Tacoma Lifestyle. It did take Tacoma Lifestyle no small amount of time to ship my package. But that only compounded the problem once it arrived at FedEx. So far I've been given four different arrival dates. First they said it would arrive on the 5th, then the 2nd, then the 4th, and now going all day today without an update until now it's the 5th.

    I ordered this before Thanksgiving. I understand it's the holidays and Black Friday and all, but that's an ample amount of time to get the package to me. That said I can live without it , but I guess management at FedEx has never heard of under promise and overproduce. If they had left the original arrival date as the 5th I would have never thought anything about it.... okay, that's a lie, from the 21st to the 5th is disappointing, but then to change it four times, damn.

    Hmm, yeah, that would be aggravating. Doesn't it give you the updates of what hub it's at and when it left and all that? Or has it just been sitting in a warehouse for 2 weeks?

    I feel your pain
    FedEx ground has never delivered a package yet to me.
    If a vendor ships FedEx ground I no longer use them.

    It took almost a week for TL to ship. Then it moved through FedEx for a day or two before arriving at a hub in UT where it sat without updating until late yesterday. I was waiting for the "we've lost your package" email. That said as of this morning it still shows it sitting in KY, which is not the state I live in. Soooo.. won't be super surprised if the next update show it arriving the 6th.

    Yeah, it's not looking good. I had the worst, almost comical shipping experience that involved Fed Ex. Ultimately, I think a big box store athletic gear company was to blame. There was a whole lot of finger pointing going on between Fed Ex, big box store and credit card company. Ultimately I got free shoes, but that was because of an additional error on someone elses part.

    Between the way Fedex rolls feeder trucks, and flash mobs raid the delivery vehicles, people are lucky if they even get their packages.

    You sound like you are my neighbor. Last April thru September FedEx could not get a package delivered to me at all.
    Ordered ECGS bushing, took FedEx 2 weeks to deliver, UPS had it here in 1 day. Ordered new headlights took 2 weeks to deliver. Ordered Dobinsons suspension took 2 weeks to deliver. All these things were ordered at basically the same time, they all sat together at local FedEx terminal together.
    Then they started to deliver 1 shipment at a time took another 2 weeks to get everything.
    Lookout for operational delay.
    Problem was the owner of the route didn't want to pay driver's he was cheap.
    Sold route and new owner pays, surprise we have the same driver and see them driving by daily.
    Just so you understand I know the game. I'm a local LTL driver.

    So this is just a shit show. After my last post stating that Fedex showed the lights sitting in KY a few hours later I received an "out for delivery". About 15 minuets later I heard something outside only to see the Fedex truck leaving. Cool, threw the box on the couch as I was going to watch Godzilla and work out. Came back, showered, opened the box, took out the DD box inside, opened it, took out the two boxes inside, took them back to the shop, install them, took the truck outside to aim them, and upon turning them on was like, "those are the funniest looking fog lights I've ever seen". Went in, found the DD box. Pod lights, they sent the wrong lights.

    So great. Their website states they only accept returns on unopened, uninstalled products. So we both fucked up. They sent the wrong lights and I didn't look at the box closely. I guess we'll see who they think fucked up worse. My inclination is they'll insist that my f' up absolves them of their f' up.

    Well if you did infact order fog lights and they packed the wrong ones that's on them.
    Give them a call and see what happens.
    On another note I did get the peanut butter box from chewy yesterday and just ordered it. FedEx brought it on time.
