Yeah, totally replaced my folding aluminum table and saves time setting that up and putting away.

 

Oh awesome, super good to know. I was on fence about them and loved the idea of red and I have seen an aqua color about too. But the wife was saying either would mimic a cop too much. But it’s good to know you have em all the way up and are fine.

 

Does the plates bolt exactly into the present locations of the oem skid plate.

 

Did you do anything special to get those patches to stick to the celing?

 

No, but it does use already-existing locations for all the bolts. It reuses 2 12mm bolt locations used by the oem skid, and 4 different-but-existing locations for 4 17mm bolts. There are several YouTube videos (search Tacoma TRD Skid Install) that will illustrate this much better than I can describe it here.

 

I had to press rather hard and sorta pull them towards the windshield to get them to stay. Some stick better than others, but I do have to re-seat them every now and then.

 

I have seen a lot of folks attach them to the inside foot well material they stick like glue there.
i was thinking of attaching a piece of the fuzzy material to the rear of the roof past my sun roof to the ceiling and then just hanging the patches there.
if i do it I will post all details.

Installed Rough Country Cold Air Intake, and one month ago, put MBRP Cat Back exhaust in my 2023 Tacoma. Accelaration is faster, but "drone" chit in cab is loud. I see people on YouTube, telling install J Pipes, or resonators in exhaust system, all conflicting info. That or I try install another cat back. I figure something out.

 

Picked up a Body Armor winch bumper off FB marketplace for $300.
Now I need to find a used winch for it, just ordered the lightbar.
