    When your mods crash into each other bumper bracket...sway bar bracket...resi bracket..all three different brands...mocked up with some head scratchin...from knuckle dragger

    Reminds me of a kid I knew when I was young, he put a V8 in a Vega and an 8 bolt diff from an impala (I think it was an impala anyway.) He'd cruise down the street and see a girl and just couldn't resist burning 'em off. Even with the engine bay mods to accommodate the engine, his testosterone fueled leadfoot would break off the distributor shaft against the firewall, every time. He'd gone through 8 of them by the time I met him. :p

    Easy.

    Remove your sway bar, drill out or grind away the part of the resi mount that interferes with the bumper bracket so that bolt can lay flush. Highly unlikely removal of that extra material on that resi bracket will cause a failure.

    if you have to keep the sway bar, can you move the resi mount over a bit to clear it?

    Remove the sway bar, problem solved. Or notch that tiny bit off.

    Most people throw those in the trash anyway, I did for 3 different vehicles.
