I've driven nothing but Tacomas since 2006, so yes I'm familiar with how easily center caps fall off. I have a 2020 TRD Pro and replaced 2 center caps in the past year or year and a half. Now 2 of them are missing one of the red letters, the T. Gonna be selling this truck soon, so it's just frustrating that I have to buy 2 more. I believe both of them were the ones I bought at the dealer to replace the others. Just venting I guess, since they're so expensive (of course). Do you know if a part like that from the dealer carries a warranty, if I can prove I bought it within a year?

I've had 2 TRD and never had a center cap come off or miss letters. Maybe you off road really hard or they are just taken by someone else at night or in a parking lot.

Its not too much extra to check them .. every 5k miles when rotating the tires

I had one that was half cocked a few months back, had to slap it with a 9 iron because I don’t play golf

If I could ever get a hold of the center caps I ordered (2020 pro wheels), I'll let you know. The caps have been on backorder since at least April.

Can't say I've ever had one fall off or even come close, nor have I ever seen anyone else driving around with that issue. What are you doing that's causing this issue?

    A few.
Yep. The 16' trd pro wheels come with cheap center caps. A couple of mine are loose and one was about ready to fall off. Just caught it in time. Its best just to put them on and leave them alone imo. They dont need to be removed to rotate tires only to replace tires and/or balance the wheels.

If you are selling the truck why even worry about it ? Mine is not a pro but haven’t had any issues with the caps . Maybe it’s a batch issue . Personally if it was me I would just sell as is .

20 sport and 2 of mine have fallen off. I’m not paying those prices to replace them though. I just took the other two off.

A dollop of clear silicone on a couple of spots before install will cure that.

Warranty for lost ones? No.:rofl::rofl:

I thought I lost a couple on my Tundra once but later out found they were stolen. Found replacements on ebay which were a bit cheaper.

I didn't mean warranty for the ones that fell off. I was talking about for the ones I bought at the dealer where the red T in TRD has fallen off because obviously they didn't do a good job putting those letters on at the factory.

I used some wire to slip around lugs. Hope this helps someone out.

You are using a 4Runner cap and it stays on.
