I have been know to be stupid in the past so bear with me. I apologize in advanced for the long winded post. I am doing some rough estimating on space between my tire and my cab mount to see how big of tire I can potentially fit. I am hoping I am one of the lucky ones that can fit 285/75r16 with minimal effort. I have 2022 Trail Edition with stock bronze wheels (I believe 16x7 +4 offset), stock 265/70r16 tires, and the 1.1 inch front lift. I have been measuring each side from tire to cab mount at full lock and have roughly 2 1/4 inch between them. I am not looking to fully prevent rub as I know it will more than likely rub when tucked offloading until I do a cmc which would be in the works before any off-road driving. The 285s are roughly 2.25" larger in diameter and .75" wider. If I am thinking properly each side of the tire would only increase by half of those measurements. So the tire would only get 1 1/8 inch closer to the cab mount from diameter increase only. And then each side would only increase by 3/8" width wise. Feel free to tell me I am an idiot if that's wrong but I am wanting to get a close idea of if it can work before I drop a grand or more on tires.
