If you’re getting water inside your topper near the tailgate, it may be the third taillight that is leaking and the water is running down the inside roof. They rattle loose and the gasket unseals. It will appear like the seal around the rear lift window is leaking. My leaking Leer was diving me nuts but finally found the problem. Hope this helps

Snug top Rebel, Thule tracks, ditch tracks, Bagged rear suspension, F/R anytime camera, intermittent wiper switch...
    Places to check:
Roof rail bolts(bitumen patches sometimes left off)
    Third brake light(comes loose)
Front @ transition from bed rail caps to composite bed
Side windows(either at frame gasket or operable window)
Rear window gasket(over time it pulls loose at the top corners) it can be carefully cut free and reglued w/contact cement.
