Kills me... in 2017, these were sub $700 at the dealer. I can't wrap my head around why the price of these skyrocketed.

The TRD Beadlock wheels made in the UK for Toyota since 2010 (first for the FJ) have been obsolete since Racing Dynamics in the Uk bought the manufacturer back in 2019/2020 and the contract with Toyota was never renewed.

The new version is called Toyota Taco Alloy, slightly different made, and made in North America

To be fair, even if they were still UK made the price would likely be close to the current with the inflation since 2017.

The $1k price, sure. But that's a sale price, and people were paying $1500 to $2500 a lil bit ago...

Yeah, I'm tempted to order a grey set, but those center caps are as scarce as hens teeth these days. If you can find them on fleabay they're about the same price as the wheels themselves.

As I said in that other thread, I’ll happily buy some Chinese caps and slap a TRD sticker on them for the same effect lol

To me the oem caps make or break the deal. I'd prefer to run the grey versions without the ring and just the oem caps.

edit: black center caps clashes with grey wheels. :puke:

As someone mentioned in a previous post, the center caps are impossible to get. I found a local shop that had these generic black caps.

I ordered a set of the oem center caps from Toyota and they said that there is usually a 6 month wait to fulfill orders. We'll see.

Great looking wheels. They will look even better on my truck at that price point!
