Aloha Folks! I have an '06 Tacoma Prerunner double cab since birth; about 150k. I don't do any mods. She is simply transportation for me and my surfboard. But I just finished having her repaired by the dealer. I know. My regular mechanic and another repair shop I use both said they didn't want to do a timing chain cover reseal. After researching a little, I don't blame them. It was pointed out that my trans cooler line and power steering return line are rusty crusty, and my alternator is making noise. Anyway...I value the knowledge and experience on this forum and thank you in advance for answering the stupid questions I will no doubt have in the possibly near future. Aloha. Ken

    Aloha!!

Alternator is about 2 hours if you're handy, not a bad job at all.
