    - Thanks to the community for the incredible help with my last post -

I got a little tipsy at Thanksgiving and pulled the trigger on a Black Friday deal, which I regret. I bought the Body Armour Overland Bedrack with the intent of working on a tent setup. I started installing today, and I will say the product is high quality. This is exactly why I am pissed. I bought the 5' bed model thinking that it would go onto the bed rails and the length wouldn't matter. Somehow I bought one of the few bed racks that bolts to the body. There is no factory bolt location in the rear of the rack to fasten this bad boy. My logic is that I would save up to buy a 3rd gen, maybe the 2024 hybrid, with a 5' bed & crew cab, and be able to reuse the same rack.

So any thoughts would help for an easy fix. My ideas are return and buy the CBI, or contact Body Armour to swap for the longer horizontal members for a 6' bed. Possibly do some ghetto rigging and drill a new support?
