Hello TW. I have coolant sprayed all over my engine bay. It looks like the coolant overflow bottle is leaking at the cap, coolant runs down, hits the fan, coolant everywhere. Truck has 12k miles on it. The coolant overflow is just above the full mark. Has anyone ever seen this?

Yes. They changed the oil but didn't say anything about this. I'll be making a trip to the dealer asap. Just wanted to document and ask if anyone else experienced this.

My 2018 did this for the first 22k miles or so. It smelt like coolant when it was new from the dealer so it went in for service, twice, for "suspected coolant leak". They pressure tested the truck twice and determine there was no coolant leak anywhere. It was that resi which would slosh around and spill a bit at the cap (just as you have deduced on yours). Currently I just let it get low enough to not splash up as much. IDK get a new 1 cent cap? I doubt they will replace the motor so I wouldn't hold out for that...

I appreciate the reply, good to hear I'm not the only one. Not worried about the motor, it has not overheated. Now if it does overheat, then I got a problem.

Now just need to wait for meso to make a short-throw reservoir cap.

Mines just above like yours… Any issues with it being just above the fill mark or should I use a plunger and remove a bit over it?

If just above fill will be fine. That tank can fluctuate it's level. I sold the truck at 16k miles so not sure what long term issues it may have.
