lol no worries, I tried searching for the new one I saw but I couldn’t find it. The one I linked, I had to use the Google Tacoma world search trick.

I’ve owned 2 Bakflips but I never cleaned either one (other than the car wash) so I can’t give you any advice from personal experience.

 

I haven’t cleaned mine either, but I have some bug stains and the color is starting to fade a hair. And I do want it to last. But not touching it is easier lol

Yeah those covers last forever so it’s definitely worth keeping them clean.

 

If it were a moded out WRX or a STI, I’d be pissed if anyone put anything other than Premium in it. I only run Mid in my Taco since day I bought it. But that’s just me and personal preference.

 

You’re just burning money on Mid grade

But what I meant with the Subaru was, I would not buy a Subie that needs premium fuel. But if I owned one, of course I would put in the necessary grade.

 

We should remember octane makes, essentially, gas harder to burn. Using it where it's not required to ward-off predetonation isn't giving us more power. In my previous car, I'd get about 3mpg WORSE running premium over 87; was weird....but it was a rotary so everything was weird. My subaru ran premium but also 27psi (vs about 14 stock) and bigger snail and injectors and all that.

Good morning folks. For people in the Baltimore area, where do you trust to get work done on your trucks? I’m specifically in need of an alignment. Thanks.

 

I got my last one done at Metal Mechanics in Churchville. They were able to follow the SPC adjustments and got it how I asked. Was about $250 though.

 

Good morning everyone. I'm at the NTB getting the tires/wheels done on the Taco. They just showed me the alignment check, left wheel is toed in 15°, right wheel is toed out 12°... sounds like the steering wheel is making a slight right turn. I'm leary about being scammed, so I'm going to take it somewhere else to get it aligned.

 

Thanks for your info. I just installed JBA UCA’s. I wondered about SPC’s but landed on JBA. I never imagined an alignment would cost that much. Any other thoughts from Baltimore locals? What are the rest of you paying for an alignment? Thanks.

 

Since there is no adjustment you might be ok at a place like Firestone or even a Toyota dealer. They might adjust to what you ask them to.

I want to say there is an off road shop called No Limit Baltimore.

 

What type of cleaning solution with it? Or just soap and water?

 

I was almost excited thinking I could fit the TRD rock warrior wheels on a grand Highlander. Unfortunately the bolt spacing is wrong 5.120 vs 5.150.

Not getting one anytime soon but it’s fun to look.
