No pictures available, but just installed Wildpeak AT3w's 265/75/16 on a customer's Taco today... looked great, no issues at all.

100% go to 265/75r16s. I've got BFG K02s, so not exactly what you're looking for, but they're great. There's no downside to not going up a tad, just the pros that it looks cooler and gives you that much more ground clearance.

Now, that being said, I am planning on going up to 255/85r16s when I need new tires. They are a 33 that will fit on stock suspension, and it won't kill your gas mileage as much as a 285.

I can also vouch for 265/75/16’s being a great tire size. You can keep decent gas mileage while still having the benefits of a slightly bigger tire.

Just picked up some 265/75/16 BFG KO2s and I think they way better than the 26/70/16 that I had on there before. This is with stock suspension.

We upgraded my wife’s DCSB Sport to 265/75/16 and it looks and drives better. (Load range E, because rocky “trail” to the cabin)
I have 255/85/16 3-season and 235/85/16 winter on my Access cab, but I also have the TRD lift, so no concerns with the big ones rubbing.
FWIW: in the BFG KO2, and some other tire brands/models, the 265/70/16 is considered an SUV tire, while the 265/75/16 is the “truck” version. Speed and load ratings, and even allowable rim widths, may vary for the same model. Read the specs carefully.

Mine goes in today for tires, going up to 265/75/16 Falcon wildpeaks AT3w. Stock tires are ok, just need something slightly more aggressive and better looking.

    • Do you have to remove the front or rear mud flaps? Was it rubbing?

    Why is one tire bigger?

It probably just appears bigger because the rear is flexing and there’s more space in the wheel well.

No rubbing with the rear mud flaps. I had the front removed before I put the new wheels and tires on but there is still some clearance in the front so I really doubt the front mud flaps would rub.
