Got it done in 1.5 hours, didn't drop or lower the tank. I few tips for anyone else doing this. I removed the rear tire so I could get right in the wheel well. After you get it all taken apart and ready to remove the old hose, cut the bellows part close to the yellow connector and cut the smallest metal tube going into the yellow connector. Doing that makes it easier to remove the rest of the old parts individually. Use a pick tool to pry open the gray clamp on both sides, bend them open no need to worry about ruining it. Then a long screwdriver to push it open, with a headlamp I was able to see what I needed to to release the clamp. Spray some silicon on a paper towel and wipe the outside of the tank nipple, the new hose will slip right on.

This post was very helpful but for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to remove this connector? Any help would be appreciated.

In case anyone else can't remove this connector, I just used two screw drivers bend the locking tabs out enough so it would slide off. I'm sure there's a tool for this but I found a work around.

Or, if you're installing a tonneau cover with drain tubes, where holes need to be drilled into the truck bed.

This is the most amazing post I've seen yet on getting help with something your photos and explanation have been truly helpful currently having to drop my tank for a recall on the fuel pump and the dealership won't do it because the yellow plastic tab would have been they said but it looks perfect to me but I was struggling to get it all and y'all have made it possible for me to continue thank you very much
