First time posting, so I’m sure if this belongs in the technical chat or 2nd gen.

I got into a little fender bender earlier this year and am fixing up my truck. I took my fenders off to find some signs of its dark past as a vehicle from the northeast. The passengers side inner fender is also dented. I’m debating whether to straighten, remove rust, and paint what I currently have or to replace potentially with the JD Fab inner fenders.

This truck is a slow build, currently running 265/70/17 with plans for 33’s in the near future and potentially bigger down the road.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you guys!

I like my JD inner fenders, having 35s with no rubbing is so nice.

Do you have a build thread or some finished pictures. Pulling the trigger on the kit after a minor fender bender and doing this project this weekend. Drilling out my core support and inner fender plug welds tonight. Already got the rest stripped.

Sorry, I don't. I'm the worst about taking any pictures. The directions are really well written, you shouldn't have any problems.

Was there holes for the ground straps for wire harness? Then for marking the tabs for the fender and welding, is that pretty straight forward where the tabs mount or do I have to install the whole inner fender and then mark where they are welded? Sorry don't have the instructions in front of me just gauging work flow. I can't weld so I have to get someone to help me with that.

I don't remember about the ground straps. As far as welding it's was pretty straightforward. My memory is a bit hazy because it was over a year ago when I did them but it wasn't that bad of a project.
