Im heritage like my bike. I bought my first Tacoma 2023 SR or access cab with a 6-foot bed. 19,600 miles and from reading about Tacoma trucks I should have got the same truck but with 4 4-cylinder engine. I live in Gainesville Fl. and would trade for a 4-cylinder SR access cab. Mine is dark grey and runs great, I bought it on Sept. 15 2023 certified preowned has a power train warranty until 2030. Also, I would like advice should I be happy with 6 cylinders. I don't like the plastic canister oil filter and plastic valve covers. I did not think Toyota would do this.

    Welcome to TW.
You'll be plenty happy with the 6 cylinder.
As a guy coming from a 6 cylinder JKRU the Taco 3.5 is pretty bomb proof.
You'll be especially happy with it if you are at all like us and do a lot of towing (or any towing really).

Honestly, from what I've heard you really don't even save much on MPG with the 4 cylinder.

Welcome to TW! -- I think you will be pleased wih the V6. Gas mileage is about the same as the 4 with more HP and torque. As far as the plastic engine components, from what I have been able to ascertain, it really isn't a problem and they hold up very well! Enjoy!
