Hey guys just put a 3 inch lift on my 2002 tocoma I’ve had nothing but wobbly issues going around turns and the steering’s not right at all just got some mechanical options and they said upgrade the upper control arms but they have to be adjustable so just wanting opinion on a good brand for an adjustable upper control arm?

Trent, first gen options are different than 3rd gen. JBA is less expensive than SPC. I don’t know why you would 100% need an adjustable control arm. The JBA has additional caster built in to accommodate the lift. Lack of caster is why your steering is feeling bad. Search through the first gen section of this site for more information.

So is the spc still a good option then?

My mechanic can’t get the alignment 100% he said the camber won’t get 100% until I either get adjustable ball joints or go with the adjustable upper control arms bc of the lift

And he won’t be able to until you put a a set of ucas that have caster built in or are adjustable. It’s up to you and your pocket book.

Do you think putting the uca on will make it quit pulling right while driving and pulling left while breaking?

That I can’t tell you. You need to get the alignment done correctly first. Have you checked for worn components on the front end.

Then I’d replace the ucas and get a really good alignment done.

Ok the pulling to the left when breaking was there before the lift went on
