Ebay's got some knockoffs at half price I'm gonna try, but first I need an aftermarket reservoir since I did a delete for more important things

Nice, I can probably go find a free aluminum bottle at a work event or something. Then I gotta go find my factory pump too haha

Interesting thread. I might have to do this to my 02 Taco since the driver's side only sprays one stream and has for years.

I replaced my driver side nozzle with this.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/265836454468

Absolutely horrible. It shoots a jet straight forward at the bottom crack of the windshield. I tried angling it up with a little tape, which doesn't do much and causes more water to leak under the hood. It needs to angle up a good 15 degrees.

Are there any other knockoffs that actually angle the stream up? Does the Honda genuine part do it? I'm without a functional nozzle now so I'll buy the Honda if I have to.

The Honda part sprays in a fan pattern, not a single stream, and is adjustable up/down.

This is definitely one of the best bang for the buck mod I have done too.
I removed the factory windshield fluid reservoir because of suspension mods.

This tank is a perfect fit. Even the mount holes lined up with existing fender thread nuts.
I bored open the bottom hole of the tank to use the OEM washer pump and wiring. I was pretty sure the grommet supplied with the new tank was going to leak.

I don't consider 10 minutes a huge amount of time. That's how long this swap takes. Unless you count the time to place an order online and waiting for it to show up at your door.

Just do the Honda Odyssey nozzles if you have not already. It's super easy and way better. For those mentioning having to bend the barbs a bit to clear the hood holes, just start them at a 90 degree angle and they will clear. Then twist and push in to seat. A very small flat head screwdriver works great for adjusting the spray height. I just push it in a bit farther than you think you need to if you are having a hard time moving them. They move easily once you get the right leverage.

This tank is still working well, no leaks and the mounts have not cracked.
There was only two issues. The cap is airtight and after a little spraying the fluid stopped. A small hole in the cap allowed venting and all is good.

The other is trickier. The supplied pump and grommet were poor. It leaked all over the igniter in a few minutes. I adapted the OE pump and grommet to the aftermarket tank. I work in a machine shop, so I was able to bore out the hole on the bottom of the tank to fit the OE grommet. I measured the OE grommets outside diameter and bored the hole .010" under that. I also aluminum brazed a bracket to support the pump.

After two lessons, I should pass along that you need to make sure your purchasing OEM Honda nozzles. The typical ebay and Amazon knock offs are crap and most are not adjustable. I recently purchased a pair from ebay, came in honda labeled packaging, and were counterfeit junk. The label looks like genuine Honda-but when compared to labels pictured on this site say Made in Japan--instead of Assembled in USA. REAL Honda nozzles cost more, but you get what you pay for. They also fit 3rd gen 4Runners.
I've been screwed by counterfeit Toyota and Honda parts now, buyer beware!!

I’m extatic with the eBay Odyssey ones I installed
Took longer to adjust than to install

The AM ones I took gamble on were lil more expensive than other cheap ones
    But
Clearly showed a small brass round adjustable sprayer

lemme take a pix when stops raining

Btw that alum washer res is Boss!
